Read good, goodreads

I didn’t really know that much about goodreads.com until my book appeared there. Right now, I see goodreads as sort of a training ground for a writer who’s anticipating her reviews. The (pre)reviews have been interesting. Some I can actually hear. One sounds like this: (START AT 1:05).

Anyway, I think it’s good that people are taking their time to read the book and review it. I kind of love that we now live in this world that’s so democratic — thanks to the Internet —  open to anyone’s critiques/ criticisms, not just the professionals. Yeah, yeah, writers (artists) complain about it, complain about regular people being the gate keepers but hey, why not? The goodreads (and Amazon) reviewers are readers and they’re the ones buying our books so.
